Instrument & Controls Engineer - Flares

Overview

In this role you will design and validate instrument and control systems for Zeeco flare projects, ensuring compliance with customer specs and budget. You will collaborate with project, sales, and process engineering teams to produce P&ID diagrams, control narratives, and instrument data sheets, while guiding procurement, production, and commissioning. You will support budget tracking, document reviews, and field inspections, with occasional travel for FAT, HAZOP, and customer meetings. Responsabilità

Review engineering and sales packages to define Zeeco scope

Develop P&ID drawings and coordinate with project teams

Create control narratives and Cause & Effect diagrams

Prepare instrument data sheets, hook-ups, and control panel drawings

Produce and review cable BOMs, routing plans, and schedules

Draft RFQs for vendors and align offers with procurement

Support budget reviews and bid tab preparation for control items

Perform inspection and testing of equipment prior to shipment

Travel to assist sales, commissioning, and meetings (FAT/HAZOP/SIL)

Requisiti fondamentali

B.S. or Master in Engineering (Instruments, Automation, Electrical, etc.)

2–3 years in manufacturing environment

Fluent in Italian and English
